Card data

Oracle text, type lines, color identity, mana cost, and image URLs are sourced from Scryfall's public API. We use Scryfall in accordance with their guidance and rate limits. We do not redistribute Scryfall's bulk dataset; we make per-card lookups against the live API and cache responses transiently.

Pricing

Price estimates shown in Binderbrew are provided by Scryfall as a best-effort signal and are clearly labeled with their provider and freshness timestamp. They are not authoritative market prices; see your marketplace of choice for live numbers.

Format rules

The Commander format, the Commander ban list, color identity rules, and all card text are owned by Wizards of the Coast. Binderbrew's rules engine encodes a subset of these rules to validate decks; the official source is the Commander format pageand the Commander RC rules.

Synergy priors

The synergy snapshot bundled with this project (data/synergy/snapshot-v1.json) is a manually curated reference list built from widely-known Commander staples. It is not a scrape of EDHREC. Refresh policy is documented in data/synergy/README.md.
