BinderBrew starts with your collection, then applies the budget guardrails you set before recommending missing cards. Use owned-only mode, cap total upgrades, or keep expensive singles out of the list.
This page puts spend limits first. Set owned-only mode, a total upgrade budget, a missing-card limit, or a single-card cap before BinderBrew fills any deck gaps.

Every review shows estimated missing-card cost, budget status, and cards-to-buy counts before you copy a list or open a marketplace.
Know where the compromises are
Budget decks often trade raw staple power for playable synergy. The confidence report calls out curve, ramp, card draw, interaction, and other gaps before you buy.
Common questions
Can BinderBrew build a deck with no new cards?
Yes. Owned-only mode forces the builder to stay inside your uploaded collection, then the review shows whether the resulting Commander deck passes legality, size, color identity, and role-balance checks.
Can I set both a total budget and a single-card cap?
Yes. BinderBrew supports a total upgrade budget, maximum missing-card count, and single-card price cap so expensive staples do not silently dominate the recommendation.
Does the buy list include cards I already own?
No. The buy list is generated from missing quantities only, so owned cards stay in the decklist but out of the shopping workflow.
